RIVERSIDE-ALBERT (CNB) - Construction of the Forest Dale Nursing Home will be completed in November, Premier Shawn Graham said today.
Graham visited the construction site at 5836 King St. in Riverside-Albert.
"Ten new nursing home beds are being created at the new facility, transforming this into a 50-bed nursing home," Graham said. "This project is another example of how we are investing in our nursing home infrastructure to meet the current and future needs of our aging population."
Construction of the $12.3-million nursing home has been underway for several months.
The project was approved prior to the launch of the province's $400-million capital renewal and replacement plan for nursing homes in New Brunswick.
