BATHURST (CNB) - The lounge and entertainment licences of a Bathurst establishment will be suspended for two days, the Department of Public Safety has announced.
As a result of an adjudication hearing on Oct. 7, the lounge and entertainment licences of 617721 N.B. Inc., doing business as Place 2 B in Bathurst, will be suspended beginning Oct. 24 at 2 a.m. and continuing to and including Oct. 26 at 2 a.m. In addition, the adjudicator has imposed a fine of $500.
The sanction was imposed as a result of violations of the Liquor Control Act and regulations in that the licensee permitted persons younger than 19 years of age to be in, or remain in, a licensed lounge.
