PETIT-ROCHER (CNB) - An investment of $50,000 will be provided to Camp Ectus in Petit-Rocher.
Roland Haché, minister of environment and minister responsible for the Northern New Brunswick Initiative, made the announcement today on behalf of Finance Minister Victor Boudreau, who is also minister responsible for the Regional Development Corporation.
"Ensuring that we have good facilities such as Camp Ectus will strengthen our communities and quality of life for the youth who use this popular facility," said Haché.
Funding through the Regional Development Corporation will help defray the cost of infrastructure improvements to the camp. Located next to the Bay of Chaleur, Camp Ectus is a popular summer camp for New Brunswick youth between the ages of six and 13.
