KEDGWICK (CNB) - The provincial government is making a $150,000 investment toward the renovation and upgrading to Salle Fatima, a multi-functional facility in Kedgwick. Premier Shawn Graham made the announcement today.
"Today's investment will help the community undertake an important infrastructure project, and it help us work towards our goal of self-sufficiency," said Graham
Joining Graham for the announcement were Donald Arseneault, minister of post-secondary education, training and labour; and Raoul Leclair, member of the Société culturelle des Hauts-Plateaux Inc.
The Regional Development Corporation is providing the funding on behalf of the provincial government. The $350,000 project includes: renovating the hall's stage; purchasing and installing new seats; acquiring a new sound system; and adding two dressing rooms.
