TRACADIE-SHEILA (CNB) - Funding to increase production and create six jobs at Trifab Inc. in Tracadie-Sheila was announced today by Finance Minister Victor Boudreau.
"Partnering with a company such as Trifab demonstrates our government's commitment to economic development in the Acadian Peninsula and New Brunswick," said Boudreau, who is also minister responsible for the Regional Development Corporation. "Our government is putting New Brunswick on the road to self-sufficiency by investing in the Acadian Peninsula region, and helping create more employment in all regions."
Joining Boudreau for the announcement were Minister of Transportation Denis Landry, and Réginald Doiron of Trifab Inc.
"This investment will help our company with our expansion project, which was necessary for us to meet our client's requests," said Doiron.
Funding of $32,900 will permit the company to acquire new production equipment and expand its facility.
