TRACADIE-SHEILA (CNB) - An investment of $137,100 will be made in Everest Plastik to acquire new equipment to help increase production at its operation in Tracadie-Sheila, Finance Minister Victor Boudreau announced today. The investment will create eight jobs.
"Our goal of a self-sufficient New Brunswick is closer to success when we partner with the private sector to create lasting employment for the people of New Brunswick," said Boudreau, who is also minister responsible for the Regional Development Corporation.
Transportation Minister Denis Landry and Neri Jean, owner of Everest Plastik, joined Boudreau for the announcement.
"I would like to thank the provincial government for its support for helping our company reach its goals," said Jean.
The funding is provided through the Regional Development Corporation.
