SAINT JOHN (CNB) - The provincial government is investing a total of $190,000 in two community centres in Saint John.
Saint John Lancaster MLA Abel Leblanc made the announcement on behalf of Business New Brunswick Minister Victor Boudreau, who is also the minister responsible for the Regional Development Corporation.
"These investments will provide services for all community groups; improve the quality of their lives; and help New Brunswickers on our journey toward self-sufficiency," said LeBlanc. "It will also ensure these community centres will continue to play a vital role in Saint John."
A total of $110,000 will be used to renovate the Milford Memorial Centre. The project includes replacing existing siding, repairs to walls and window replacement.
