ST. STEPHEN (CNB) - The Service New Brunswick service centre in St. Stephen will offer all of its services from the first floor of its current location at 73 Milltown Blvd. beginning Monday, Aug. 25.
The land registry and assessment services office, previously located on the second floor, will now be located on the main floor along with motor vehicle and driving services, birth certificate applications, and the many other provincial services offered by Service New Brunswick.
Business New Brunswick Minister Greg Byrne, minister responsible for Service New Brunswick, said the consolidation will make services more accessible for residents in the southwestern part of the province.
"Service New Brunswick is government's single-window service-delivery agency, and bringing together all these services on one floor furthers our vision of easy, one-stop shopping for provincial services," said Byrne. "Our government is committed to improving government service for New Brunswickers, and this improvement certainly makes things more convenient for area residents."
The St. Stephen Service Centre is open Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m.- 5 p.m., and Saturday, 9 a.m. to noon.
Service New Brunswick is a Crown corporation providing government services through a network of 39 service centres; toll-free through SNB TeleServices; and at SNB online. It is also responsible for real-property assessments and four provincial registries: the personal property, corporate affairs, vital statistics and real property registries.
