MONCTON (CNB) - A tender worth $884,100 for the construction of a 390-sq.-metre (4,196 sq.-ft.) addition to École L'Odyssée has been awarded to Flagship Construction Ltd. Ed Doherty, Minister of Supply and Services, made the announcement today.
"The construction of this new space at École L'Odyssée will help our educational system meet the needs of a growing student body in Moncton," said Doherty.
The project will include construction of four resource rooms and six offices; landscaping; and relocation of a service road.
"Capital projects such as these not only represent an important investment in the New Brunswick economy, but also mark an important step forward toward building the best education system in the country," said Education Minister, Roland Haché. "We are pleased to provide the students and staff of l'Ecole Odyssée with new school spaces in which to learn and work."
