Update on Petitcodiac causeway project (10/02/22)

MONCTON (CNB) - An open house will be held from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 25, to update the public about the Petitcodiac causeway project. The event will take place at the Moncton Lions Club, 55 Mark Ave., Moncton.

Officials will be available at the open house to provide:

• general project information;
• information about Stage 1 activities (shoreline protection and the rehabilitation of dikes and aboiteux);
• information about anticipated river conditions once the causeway gates are opened to tidal flows during the spring freshet; and
• information about the environmental monitoring program.
