Parlee Beach to use new parking system (10/05/04)

NB 664

May 4, 2010

SHEDIAC (CNB) - Parlee Beach will be using a new automated parking system for the 2010 tourism season.

Park visitors will take a ticket upon entry and pay for their parking at one of two pay stations before leaving. Debit, credit card and cash will be accepted.

"The system will increase efficiency and make it easier to access the park grounds and pay for that parking," said Hédard Albert, acting minister of tourism and parks. "It will let visitors avoid long lineups at the front gates and make it more convenient for patrons."

Daily passes will cost $10. Season passes will cost $82, the same as in the 2009 season.
