TransportationChanges to exit numbers this fall (03/10/20)NB 941 Oct. 20, 2003 FREDERICTON (CNB) - With the opening of more than 80 kilometres of highway in New Brunswick this fall, several changes will be made to exit numbers on Routes 2, 8, and 11. Exit numbers in New Brunswick are based on the distance from the beginning of a route to the exit. With the opening of new sections of highway, route lengths are revised and exit numbers need to be changed accordingly. Fifteen exits in New Brunswick will be created or receive new numbers due to the highway openings. Old exit numbers will remain posted with the new exit numbers for one year. Portions of some routes will also be renumbered when the new highways open. 03/10/20 EDITOR'S NOTE: A list of affected highway exits and route numbers is attached.
