RIVIÈRE-DU-NORD (CNB) - An agricultural fair featuring an exhibition and sale of craft products, and an auction of animals and various products from Village Historique Acadien shops, will be held as part of the village's 30th anniversary celebrations.
The fair will take place at 10 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 9, and again at 10 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 16, with the opening of the various exhibits taking place in the Antoine-Landry Room. The Robin Shed will open its doors to make various jams, jellies and pickles, as well as wool and potatoes, available for purchase.
Musicians will take the stage at 11 a.m. at Post House 1. Free corn on the cob and molasses cake will be offered to visitors.
The auction will begin at 1 p.m., and will be called by Dominique Breau and Jean-Claude Doiron.
The activities will close both days at 5:30 p.m. with a drawing for a barrel from the Thomas Shop.
