SAINT JOHN (CNB) - Saint John as been selected as the only audition location east of Montreal for the second season of So You Think You Can Dance Canada. Wellness, Culture and Sport Minister Hédard Albert made the announcement today.

Registration for auditions begins at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, April 21, at the Imperial Theatre, 24 King Sq. S.

"This is a wonderful opportunity to showcase the province and the talents of our residents," Albert said. "I welcome CTV to Saint John, and trust that it will find the hospitality second to none. I would also like to acknowledge the efforts of New Brunswick Film in attracting the production to the province by identifying possible locations and finding experienced local people to work on the crew."

CTV has confirmed that the Season 1 cast of host Leah Miller; dance experts Jean Marc Genereux and Tré Armstrong; and guest judges Blake McGrath and Luther Brown, will be returning.

The inaugural season of the program began last April with the first audition tour stop in Vancouver, and continued across the country, with more than 2,500 people auditioning.
