FREDERICTON (CNB) - The provincial government, in partnership with the New Brunswick Crafts Council, will showcase a booth, New Brunswick Artisans, at the Atlantic Craft Trade Show (ACTS), Feb. 6-8 at the World Trade and Convention Centre in Halifax, N.S.
"Providing an opportunity for local artists to participate in this type of event is a great way to encourage and support them," said Wellness, Culture and Sport Minister Hédard Albert. "The department works closely with the New Brunswick Crafts Council, and its partners, to ensure our craftspeople are known outside their area."
The initiative is funded by the department and organized by the New Brunswick Crafts Council. The booth will feature seven craft companies, new to wholesale at the Atlantic Craft Trade Show, which will be offering new products to retail outlets throughout North America and to international buyers.
