The Honourable Mr. Justice Alexandre Deschênes

Mr. Justice Alexandre Deschênes, B.A., L.L.B. Born in Kedgwick, New Brunswick. Married to Huguette Deschênes. Two Children. Educated at Université St-Joseph, 1960-1962; University of Ottawa 1962-1965 (B.A.); University of New Brunswick (L.L.B.) 1968. Called to the bar in 1968. Legal Counsel, Department of Justice, Fredericton: 1968-1971.Practiced law between 1972 and 1982 with emphasis in civil litigation as a partner in the firm of Michaud, LeBlanc, Robichaud & Deschênes in Shediac and Moncton. Appointed Judge of the Court of Queen's Bench of New Brunswick in 1982. Appointed to the Court of Appeal of New Brunswick in 2000.
