An Act to Authorize the Conveyance of Land from The Canadian Red Cross

Society / La Société Canadienne de la Croix-Rouge to The Canadian Blood Services / Société canadienne du sang

Her Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of New Brunswick, enacts as follows:

1 Notwithstanding anything contained in chapter 68 of the Acts of New Brunswick, 1982, or anything contained in the will of the late Joseph J. Tucker or in any other document, conveyance or Act, The Canadian Red Cross Society / La Société Canadienne de la Croix-Rouge is authorized to convey to THE CANADIAN BLOOD SERVICES / Société canadienne du sang, a company duly incorporated under the Canada Corporations Act, the lands conveyed to it by Indenture of Deed dated September 3, 1982, and registered in the Saint John County Registry Office as No. 303622, together with all buildings, erections and improvements thereon for the purposes of THE CANADIAN BLOOD SERVICES / Société canadienne du sang.

 

2 Notwithstanding anything contained in chapter 68 of the Acts of New Brunswick, 1982, or anything in the will of the late Joseph J. Tucker or in any other document or conveyance, occupation and use of the lands described in the deed referred to in section 1 by THE CANADIAN BLOOD SERVICES / Société canadienne du sang on or after September 28, 1998, pursuant to a lease entered into between THE CANADIAN BLOOD SERVICES / Société canadienne du sang and The Canadian Red Cross Society / La Société Canadienne de la Croix-Rouge up to the time of conveyance of the lands, as authorized under section 1, shall be deemed to have been and is hereby authorized.
