It was agreed by unanimous consent to defer second reading of Bill 33, An Act to Amend the Prescription Drug Payment Act, until the next day's sitting.
The Order of the Day for resuming the adjourned debate on the motion (Motion 77),
That this House approves in general the budgetary policy of the government, having been read,
The debate was resumed.
And after some time, on motion of Hon. Mr. Mockler, the consideration thereof was adjourned over.
Hon. Mr. Green welcomed to the House Mr. Harold Fanjoy, Progressive Conservative Member for the constituency of Kings Centre (1974 - 1987).
Mr. C. Thériault welcomed to the House Mrs. Laureen Jarrett, Liberal Member for the constituency of Kings West (1987 - 1995) and Saint John Kings (1995 - 1999).
And then, 11.52 o'clock a.m., the House adjourned.
