Forest Fire Watch

September 8, 2010

FREDERICTON (CNB) – The following public advisory regarding Category 1 Burning Permits in the province is issued by the Forest Fire Management Branch, Department of Natural Resources. (Note: Grass fires are NOT permitted in Category 1). Within city and town boundaries, please check with municipal offices about burning permit restrictions.

Burning conditions are valid from 2 PM May 8, to 2 PM May 9

Burning conditions are valid from 2 PM September 08 to 2 PM September 09.

 

All counties are open for burning.

This information does not apply to the Tracadie Firing Range area, where burning is prohibited.
