SNB consultants assisted governments in Russia to understand the concept of a land tenure management system and the methodology associated with its development. Training was provided in the intricacies of developing and managing the system.


Peru
SNB worked in Peru on one of the phases of an Urban Property Rights project to give ownership of land to approximately one million squatters.
SNB provided:

• Recommendations on how to establish ownership
• Advice and recommendations on streamlining the land registry process
• Recommendations on facilities, staffing, training and budget.
