2. Do I have to have a photo on my driver's licence to renew online?
Yes, you must already have a photo on your licence and you must have it updated in person at an SNB Location every 8 years in order to renew online.

3. My address or personal information is wrong on the renewal notice, how can it be changed?
The address and drivers licence information needs to be correct on the drivers licence renewal form to renew at SNB Online.

*Address changes and drivers licence renewal can be done together by contacting our Teleservices 1-888-762-8600 if calling form within N.B. – 1-506-684-7901 if calling from outside NB (Monday to Friday 8:30am to 10pm, Saturday 10am to 5pm) or visit your nearest SNB location.

4. How will the renewal fee appear on my credit card statement?
Your credit card statement will appear as follows:

5. Does it cost extra to renew by the Internet?
No. There is no additional fee to renew by the Internet

6. Will I get a receipt?
No. We recommend you print the screen with the confirmation of a successful renewal. Keep this authorization number and mailing information to use as record or receipt.

7. How long will it take to receive the renewed driver's licence?
You will receive your new driver's licence by mail within 7 business days.

8. What happens if I don't receive my new driver's licence?
If you have not received your new driver's licence by the end of the 7 day period, call SNB Teleservices 1-888-762-8600 if calling within N.B., 1-506-684-7901 if calling from outside N.B. Be prepared to give the driver's licence number, exact date that you renewed on the Internet, and authorization number from your records.

9. My name has changed. Can I still renew online?
No. You cannot change your name online, as you must show proof of the name change. Visit an SNB location and bring your support documents (i.e. court order, marriage certificate, etc) as soon as possible to have your name properly recorded and your renewal processed at the same time.

10. I did not receive or lost my renewal notice. Can I still renew online?
Yes, if the address has not changed, you can still renew online without your renewal notice. Use your current driver's licence for the required information.

11. What should I do with my old driver's licence and renewal notice?
Upon receipt of your new driver's licence in the mail, you must destroy your old driver's licence and renewal notice

12. What if I have a problem with my request or I get an error message and cannot complete the transaction?

13. In order to renew my driver's licence, I am required to submit a completed medical form. Can I still renew online?
No. If a medical is required to renew your class of driver's licence, you will have to visit a SNB Location in order to renew, submitting that medical.

14. My renewal application indicates that I must pass an air brake test, can I still renew online?
No. You will have to make an appointment with the driver examiner to pass this test before you can renew your driver's licence and then visit an SNB Location to complete the renewal.

15. My driver's licence has been expired for over two years, can I still renew online?
No. You will be required to undergo a full driver’s licence examination before you can renew your driver’s licence. Please contact your local SNB Location to set up and appointment with the driver examiner.

16. I have a paper driver's licence, can I renew online and receive a plastic one?
No. You will have to visit an SNB Location in order to get a plastic driver's licence as your signature and photo (optional) must be captured electronically for the plastic licence.

17. My driver's licence is due for renewal, however my licence is presently suspended, can I still renew online?
No. Please visit your local SNB Location to have the suspension removed from your licence after which you may renew your licence.
