PIPP Manual

The purpose of this Manual is to present the policies and procedures of the Pediatric Insulin Pump Program (PIPP) in one document.

This Manual forms part of the agreement among the Department of Health, Children with diabetes and their agents, parents or guardians, Pediatricians, Regional Health Authorities and Approved Vendors to support access to insulin pump therapy for children. The Department of Health reserves the right to revise this Manual.

This Manual is for use by Families, Health Care Providers, Regional Health Authorities and Approved Insulin Pump Vendors and is intended to provide guidance in managing the process of providing subsidy support.
