The Province of New Brunswick and the Department of Transportation and Infrastructure  shall not be liable for any loss or damage of any kind including personal injury or death arising from the use of these maps or accompanying written materials or from errors, deficiencies or faults therein, whether such damage is caused by negligence or otherwise.

These maps are a graphical representation of the highways, roads and streets within the province that are known to exist at the time of publication.  There may be other highways, roads and streets that are not indicated on the maps due to error or omission or its being bypassed.  Those highways, roads and streets remain vested in the Crown and may be dealt with under this Act in the same manner as a highway.

Maps showing the general location of the roads are filed in the registry offices of the counties in which the roads lie, pursuant to section 15 of the Highway Act.
