Abstract: Two winter wheat tests, the Plant Research Center and the Maritime Winter Wheat Test were planted at Hartland, N.B. on Sept. 6, 1995. Yields ranged from 6.1-3.5 and from 5.4-3.1 T/ha for the Plant Research Center and the Maritime Winter Wheat tests respectively. Winter conditions were not harsh and therefore most cultivars survived the winter very well. There appears to be a number of excellent lines that have superior agronomic characteristics to the traditionally grown cultivar Borden.
