Abstract: Monilinia blight incidence was surveyed in 14 commercial wild blueberry fields in the three production regions of the province. Conditions for blight infection occurred frequently in the spring of 1997, but, overall blight incidence was low. The average infection incidence was 1.0% for blossoms and 1.1% for leaf clusters. One half of the surveyed fields had no blight of blossoms and the highest incidence for a single field was 5.1% for blossoms and 5.9% for leaf clusters. There were no large differences between production regions or between sprayed and unsprayed fields.
