Abstract: A trial to evaluate the performance of twenty-two potato clones and varieties for field and culinary characteristics was conducted at Florenceville, NB. The twenty-two entries consisted of two russets and twenty non-russets. Total yields ranged between 287 cwt/A and 538 cwt/A. The best table entries based upon marketable yield, tuber appearance, specific gravity and boil and bake scores were (alphabetically): AF1424-7, B0564-8, Katahdin and NY103. The best chipping entries considering chip scores, marketable yield and overall rating were AF1424-7 and Niska.
