NB 474

April 5, 2010

RIVIÈRE-DU-NORD (CNB) - The Village Historique Acadien is launching a new version of its website. The address will remain the same:

The new website will be livelier and more dynamic. The changes are in line with the marketing objectives and designed to breathe new life into the Village Historique Acadien for its summer season.

Numerous images have been added to make the site more visually appealing and enjoyable for visitors. The navigation system has been reviewed to make it more user friendly, and the Web pages have been reorganized and restructured.

The Calendar section presents, in detail, the activities taking place throughout the summer.

Open since 1977, the Village Historique Acadien strives to portray the lives of Acadians between 1770 and 1949. More than 40 original buildings are staffed by interpreters in period costume who bring the ancestral customs and traditional trades back to life.
