Consultations The Commission on Post-Secondary Education in New Brunswick just ended a consultation tour across the province. From April 11 to May 2, the two commissioners and the commission’s staff met with students, post-secondary education stakeholders and the public. Public consultations A total of 517 people attended one of twelve public meetings held in nine municipalities: Fredericton, Woodstock, Edmundston, Campbellton, Bathurst, Shippagan, Saint John and Miramichi. During these meetings, 83 individuals or groups chose to address the commission. You can read the consultation’s daily reports online. Individual meetings During the consultation tour, 56 individual meetings with students and post-secondary education stakeholders also took place. The list of people and groups consulted by the commission during public consultations and individual meetings is available online. Briefs The commission invited students, post-secondary education stakeholders and the public to submit briefs on ways to improve the post-secondary education system in New Brunswick. • The commission received 104 briefs that are available
in the “Briefs and Comments” section
on this website. Comments The commission also invited the population to send comments. Some people chose to fill out the discussion paper questionnaire, others to send their comments by email or mail. • In total, the commission received 37 questionnaires
and 26 people sent their comments. Comments for
