Read, Learn, Play, and Create!

New Brunswick’s public libraries are open to everyone, providing free access to books, digital resources, programs, and community spaces. Whether you're looking to discover a new favourite author, attend a workshop, borrow a musical instrument or explore technology with your children, your local library is here to support lifelong learning, curiosity, and connection.

Libraries across the province are grounded in four core values: Read, Learn, Play, and Create—offering something for every stage of life and every member of your community.

Our new look

You might notice libraries have a new logo and brand; this was developed to reflect the modern needs and uses of our libraries across the province. It all started with an updated library card and turned into something fun and engaging that many libraries can use to develop programming and community connections in their unique communities. Our new brand encompasses the four core values Read, Learn, Play and Create and features the playful spirit of our provincial bird, the black-capped chickadee.
