Overview
GeoNB is New Brunswick’s go-to system for anything related to maps and geographic information. It's how the province collects, manages and shares location-based data to support decision making.
The main goals of GeoNB are to:
- give everyone easy access to maps, geographic data and useful tools
- save time and money by sharing data and working together
- encourage more people to use maps and geographic information in their work
Data catalogue
The data catalogue contains a list of the geographic datasets that are available for download.
Applications
The Applications section provides access to custom designed applications combining data and value-added functionality intended for specifically targeted user groups.
Support services
GeoNB utilizes ESRI ArcGIS Server and makes data available as ArcGIS Server map services and image services.

The GeoNB website has moved over to the www.gnb.ca domain. We took advantage of this change to make improvements. Please give us your feedback.

Elevation and Terrain Data
2025-03-21 This week we improved access to elevation and terrain data in the GeoNB Map Viewer. To see the improvements open the “Layers” tool and scroll down to the bottom of the list. Enable the “Elevation and Terrain” layer and expand it to see all the sub-layers.
