- Application description: The WAWA Reference Map is intended for planning purposes only. There are three categories of water features:
- Provincially Significant Wetlands (PSW): Wetlands having provincial, national or international importance (i.e. species at risk, coastal wetlands, unique forested wetlands, some floodplain wetlands).
- Wetlands: Various wetland types - Freshwater marsh, aquatic bed, bog, fen, forested and shrub.
- Watercourses and water bodies (e.g. rivers, lakes, and streams).

- Search for a particular property, address, or location
- Display wetland data and control transparency of wetland polygons
- Data requirements:
- Protected wetland polygons
- Water (watercourses & water bodies)
- Property maps
- Civic Addresses
- GeoNB base maps
- Data update frequency: Wetlands, watercourses, and water bodies should be updated on a yearly cycle.
