Overview
- Data purpose: To provide the public with a digital representation of the 308 electoral district boundaries.
- Data description: Canada is divided into 308 federal electoral districts (FED). A representative or member of Parliament is elected for each electoral district.
- Update requirements: On an ad hoc basis as boundaries or names change. Boundaries are adjusted following each decennial census. The names of the FEDs can be changed at any time.
- Restriction on use: Unrestricted

- Georeferencing: datum - NAD83(CSRS), map projection - Geographic, (EPSG 4617)
