Overview
- Data purpose: To provide the location of protected wellfields in order to convey that there are prohibitions or limitations on chemical/petroleum storage and land use activities.
- Data description: Protected wellfield polygons are a graphical representation of wellfield boundaries as defined in the Clean Water Act – Wellfield Protected Area Designation Order. Attributes include municipality, designation number, zones and associated wellfield ID’s.
- Update requirements: On an ad hoc basis as new protected wellfields are designated or existing boundaries edited.
- Restriction on use: Unrestricted
