If you have any questions about cancer screening, call 1-844-777-3443.

Getting screened is important for lowering your risk of cancer.  It can prevent cancer or find it in its earliest stages, allowing more treatment options and a better chance of recovery.

Screening is the early detection of cancer or pre-cancerous conditions in people who do not have symptoms of cancer. Evidence supports population-based cancer screening programs for three types of cancers: breast, cervical and colon.

Around half of cancer cases and deaths can be prevented by making healthier life choices and participating in screening programs. Healthier life choices can include eating a balanced diet, limiting alcohol consumption, quitting smoking and becoming more physically active.
