FREDERICTON (GNB) – Students attending eligible post-secondary education programs starting between Aug. 1, 2025, and July 31, 2026, can now apply for financial assistance.

The online application is available at studentaid.gnb.ca and includes a new registration process. Once registered, students can receive correspondence from Student Financial Services electronically in their portal. A video will be available to guide students through the registration process.

“Ensuring every student has the opportunity to attend post-secondary education is an important part of our department’s mandate,” said Jean-Claude D’Amours, acting minister of post-secondary education, training and labour. “Post-secondary students play an important role in our province’s society, and making these supports more accessible for students will strengthen New Brunswick across the board.”

Students enrolled in a program for the current academic year, starting on or before July 31, may still apply for assistance.
