FREDERICTON (GNB) – A competition is now underway to fill the position of the consumer advocate for insurance.
Potential candidates have until July 25 to apply. The application, as well as information on the qualifications and conditions for this position, is available online.
Michèle Pelletier, the acting advocate, will remain in the role until the selection process is complete.
The Office of the Consumer Advocate for Insurance, established in 2005, responds to requests for information about insurance and investigates complaints from consumers. The office is also responsible for developing and conducting educational programs on insurance.
