NB Power review beginning in-person public engagement

FREDERICTON (GNB) – In-person public engagement sessions – which are part of a comprehensive review of NB Power – will begin this week.

The first session is Wednesday in Moncton, with others to follow in Saint John, Saint Andrews and Fredericton:

  • Moncton – Wednesday, Sept. 10, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., in the Richelieu Room of the Pavillon Léopold-Taillon at the Université de Moncton, 18 Antonine-Maillet Ave.
  • Saint John – Thursday, Sept. 11, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., in Dufferin Hall of the Thistle-St. Andrews Curling Club, 49 Dufferin Ave.
  • Saint Andrews – Thursday, Sept. 11, 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., in the dining room of the W.C. O'Neill Arena Complex, 24 Reed Ave.
  • Fredericton – Friday, Sept. 12, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., in the auditorium of the Hugh John Flemming Forestry Centre, 1350 Regent St.

Participants are welcome to attend all or part of a session. Translation services will be available, in both English and French.

Sessions are also being planned for Miramichi, Caraquet, Bathurst and Edmundston. Details will be added to the review website as they become available.

An interim report summarizing the public and stakeholder engagement will be released by the end of 2025. Final recommendations and any decisions are expected by the end of March 2026.
