More public engagement sessions scheduled in NB Power review

In-person public engagement sessions, which are part of a review of NB Power, will continue this month.

FREDERICTON (GNB) – In-person public engagement sessions, which are part of a review of NB Power, will continue this month.

The next session is Monday, Oct. 27, in Miramichi, with others to follow in Caraquet, Bathurst, Edmundston and Woodstock.

  • Miramichi – Monday, Oct. 27, 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., in the banquet hall of the Miramichi Curling Club, 21 Cove Rd.
  • Caraquet – Tuesday, Oct. 28, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., in the foyer of the Centre culturel de Caraquet, 220 St-Pierre Blvd. W.
  • Bathurst – Tuesday, Oct. 28, 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., in the upstairs lounge of the Bathurst Curling Club, 209 St. Andrew St.
  • Edmundston – Wednesday, Oct. 29, 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., in République C of the Four Points by Sheraton, 100 Rice St.
  • Woodstock – Thursday, Oct. 30, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., in the New Brunswick Community College gymnasium, 100 Broadway St.

Participants are welcome to attend all or part of a session. Translation services will be available, in both English and French.

Previous in-person sessions were held in Moncton, Saint John, Saint Andrews and Fredericton.

An interim report summarizing the public and stakeholder engagement will be released by the end of 2025. Final recommendations and any decisions are expected by the end of March 2026.
