Elections NB
March 13, 2026
FREDERICTON (GNB) – Elections New Brunswick wants people to make sure their voter information is up to date as it prepares for local government and district education council elections in May.
Registered voters in the province should start receiving postcards in the mail next week. They will be asked to contact Elections New Brunswick if the information on their card is incorrect or needs to be updated.
“We want people to call us if the names listed on the card no longer live at that address, or if they need other updates made”, said chief electoral officer Kim Poffenroth. “Having the most up-to-date elector data will allow us to make sure that the voter information cards that we send out in late April will have the most accurate information possible.”
Elections New Brunswick has opened a call centre to handle the many calls expected during the election period.
Voters will go to the polls to elect local government councils, rural district advisory committee members and district education councillors.
