What we do

Women’s Equality is responsible for promoting gender equality and reducing systematic discrimination. We are also responsible for providing advice and support to departments on advancing equality and for coordinating the implementation of the government’s initiatives regarding women’s personal, economic, and social security. We work with community groups, organizations, and other departments to encourage a comprehensive and collaborative approach to gender equality.
