Call for arts jurors

Contribute to New Brunswick's arts and culture by participating as a juror to evaluate and select applications for various funding programs.

Overview

Each year, the New Brunswick Department of Tourism, Heritage, and Culture appoints about 20 arts and cultural experts as jurors to evaluate applications for various funding programs, including grants for publishers, arts groups, music development and art acquisitions for the New Brunswick Art Bank.

Juries, typically consisting of three to six members, decide which applicants should receive grants, recommend grant amounts and determine which artworks should be purchased.

Jurors are chosen based on their expertise, experience and analytical skills, focusing on regional and cultural diversity and linguistic balance. They are encouraged to use their preferred language during deliberations.
