New Brunswick municipalities with cultural policies
Municipalities, communities or regions can have a documented cultural policy or plan. The policy must:
- provide a clear direction for the area regarding developing the region’s cultural products, offerings and/or services
- contain objectives and timelines to achieve these objectives
- be adopted or endorsed by the municipal/regional leaders
A cultural policy can be any length and may be part of a larger municipal plan. Still, it must clearly outline the region’s goals and areas of focus for cultural development and promotion, including the arts sector and heritage assets, along with its objectives and measures of success.
If you represent a municipality with a cultural policy and would like to be added to the list below, please email [email protected].
