Commemorations and celebrations program pre-application checklist

Our organization:

Is a registered non-profit, a local government with a cultural policy, or a First Nations community
Is based in New Brunswick
Does not have any outstanding Commemorations and Celebrations final reports

Our project:

Commemorates a significant event (related to people, places, and accomplishments) that played a key role in New Brunswick history
Celebrates an anniversary in a 25-year increment
Is not receiving funding from other provincial government programs

Prior to submitting the application, we have/are:

Read through the program guidelines, application form, and final report documents in their entirety
Aware of the program application deadlines (April 30 and October 31)
Aware that applications received after a deadline will not be considered until the next program deadline
Contacted the Archaeology and Heritage Branch to discuss any outstanding questions
Completed all sections of the most current version of the application form located on the website
Ensured that the request for funds does not exceed 50% of the total project costs, up to a maximum of $35,000
Ensured that the proposed budget is balanced
Ensured that the application form is signed by someone with signing authority for the organization
Aware that only applications submitted to [email protected] will be accepted for review
