- arts festivals, cultural events or gatherings

Evaluation
Due to high demand and limited available budget, the department undertakes a selective process when allocating grants. Application for a grant does not guarantee a grant or that the full amount requested can be awarded. The department will assess and prioritize applications based on the following:
- community impact: The degree to which the project benefits the broader community, including improvements to equity and access, community well-being, and artistic contribution to the community
- artist impact: The extent to which the project supports and enhances the work and visibility of professional artists
- feasibility: The project’s achievability, including budget, applicant experience, and timeline
