Evaluation

Due to high demand and limited available budget, the department undertakes a selective process when allocating grants.  Application for a grant does not guarantee a grant or that the full amount requested can be awarded.  The department will assess and prioritize applications based on:

  • new or sustained impact on the organization or for artists
  • feasibility and achievability
  • proposed activity’s alignment with government priorities with respect to the arts and culture sector
