Program description
The four components of this program aim to strengthen New Brunswick’s arts and cultural sector through projects that increase creative, economic and professional benefits for artists and cultural organizations.
The objectives of the program are:
- Strategic growth and development component: To enhance growth, professionalism and sustainable contributions to the cultural sector
- Arts wellness component: To support partnership projects that positively impact wellness through arts
- Export component: To nurture new and existing art markets in a global context
- Digital component: To promote or showcase artistic and cultural offerings using digital means or approaches
Deadline
Deadlines for this program are outlined in the program call on the Arts Culture NB Portal.
Eligibility
Eligible applicants include non-profit arts and cultural organizations, cultural industry businesses and First Nations groups.
Evaluation
Applications submitted to this program are evaluated according to the program objectives and criteria, including general and contextual information about the organization, the nature and quality of the work outlined in the application and potential impacts.

For Professional Artist & Compensated at Industry Standard: the department reflects its commitment to the status of the artist (publication) across programs, including by encouraging fair remuneration for the professional engagement of artists.

- for compensation, refer to the most suitable recommended minimum fee(s) featured in a fee scale maintained by an association on the Certification Register; if no scale is available, rationale is still encouraged
