Touring and presenting grant

Supports the touring and presentation of artistic products, performances and exhibits by non-profit arts organizations or professional artists in the province.

Program description

The Touring and Presenting component seeks to improve access to the works of professional arts organizations and artists in New Brunswick, as well as to cultivate greater audience awareness and appreciation for their works.

Touring component: grants apply to the touring of completed works to multiple municipalities in the province. 

Presenting component: grants apply to the presentation of works by professional artists.

Objective

Increase the accessibility and distribution of works by New Brunswick arts organizations across the province by improving the terms for presentation.

Deadlines for this program are outlined in the program call on the Arts Culture NB Portal.

Level of funding

The grant is provided to professional arts organizations based on the evaluation of the proposed touring or arts programming project.

Eligibility

The program is open to professional arts presenters legally constituted in New Brunswick who meet the following criteria:

  • the principal mandate of the organization consists of presenting performances and/or exhibits in one or several artistic disciplines
  • the staff and/or volunteers of the organization have professional training and/or related experience in the areas of presenting performances and/or exhibits in one or several artistic disciplines

Evaluation

Applications submitted to this program are evaluated according to the program objectives and criteria, including general and contextual information about the organization, the nature and quality of the work outlined in the application and potential impacts.
