‘Heritage Resources’ comprise both archaeological and heritage components; while archaeological resources are considered as non-renewable, tangible, material/physical remains of past human activity that are historical, cultural, or of scientific interest, heritage resources can be cultural or natural that hold a shared collective value to society, community, or group of people (Parks Canada 2019).
