Construction zones can often present road users with unexpected or unfamiliar situations. Special care should be taken when applying traffic control to ensure that drivers, cyclists, pedestrians, and other road users are provided with sufficient information to proceed through the construction zone in a safe and efficient manner. Doing so will enhance safety for both the travelling public and workers.
