Infractions and penalties

List of infractions or penalties that drivers of all-terrain vehicles and snowmobiles should be aware of.

Overview

When an offence includes a specified additional penalty, the judge is required or permitted to impose this extra penalty. If this additional penalty is a fine, it is added to the original fine and considered a single amount. As a result, the total fine may exceed the typical maximum fine set for the offence, which can be up to $20,500.
